54th Annual National Minority Contractors Conference Brings Speaker Panels, Networking, and Vendor Exposition to Texas

ARLINGTON, TX — The executive office of the National Association of Minority Contractors (NAMC) — in partnership with the Dallas-Fort Worth chapter (NAMC-DFW) — announces the 54th Annual National Conference was recently held in Arlington, Texas, at Live! by Loews Hotel & Conference Center. This yearly conference took place over two days, featuring a lineup of speakers, networking opportunities, and a trade show exposition. Each year, the conference attracts hundreds of construction and minority contracting professionals from across the nation, including industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and experts.

"NAMC is actively engaging with key stakeholders, including the White House, USDOT, and USDOE, to promote diversity and inclusion on a national level,” said Wendell Stemley, President of NAMC National. “Recent challenges to D&I have emerged in certain states, but NAMC calls on corporate partners and government agencies to address these issues. ... We must not be complacent. Together, we will stand for our major corporate partners, members, and all advocates of diversity. We believe in our right to address inequalities and strive for a fair and inclusive industry and society."

At the 54th Annual National Conference, a curated lineup of speakers shared their expertise, strategies, and success stories, offering knowledge and insights that can be implemented in various professional settings. Attendees also had networking opportunities to engage in conversations, exchange ideas, and establish professional connections.

The trade show exposition offered a diverse range of products, services, and technologies from industry suppliers. Attendees could gain firsthand knowledge of tools, discover innovative approaches, and find strategic partners.

"This conference represents a unique opportunity for industry construction and contracting professionals to learn from the best, connect with like-minded individuals, and explore the latest trends and innovations in our industry," said Demetria Bivens, Executive Director of NAMC Dallas-Fort Worth.
